Conil is a beautiful seashore town, located in the piece of coast known as "Costa de la Luz", in Cadiz, at the south end of Spain. Caressed by the Atlantic waters, it's a lovely town with white houses and amazing beaches. But Conil is not only beaches. History and monument lovers can wander around and find some sightseeing spots like the Curch of St. Catalina, the Torre de Guzmán or the Puerta de la Villa.

Conil de la Frontera is the main center for pottery creation in Cadiz. There are many antique familiy owned craft shops that create traditional pieces and also modern designers who offer new pieces with a variety of uses. Many other typical products can be purchased in Conil, such as canned foods, honey or pine nuts, and wonderful local olive oil, wine and cheese.
Nightlife in Conil lays upon a large variety of night clubs, bars and discos, most of them in the town centre, among the Cadiz and Baluarte streets and the Plaza de Sta. Catalina. In summer, a well known stall is set by the Los Bateles beach. Suitable for all ages, the music varies from tecno to flamenco. Most of the summer concerts held in Conil take place in othe stalls by the beaches.
Conil de la Frontera is about 40 Km far from the city of Cádiz and belongs to the region of La Janda which include other beautiful towns as Barbate, Vejer, Medina Sidonia,... All together, their touristic and leasure offer is hardly to exceed. Conil borders on Vejer de la Frontera and the beach El Palmar by the south and east side. Chiclana is northwards.
